Wow, haven't used this in over a year. Lordy. Well, I recently purchased a scanner to my delight, so I'll probably start putting stuff up again rather then let it all sit forgotten in my sketchbooks.

Just felt like a new one. Yup.

OMG SHAT I'M GLAD SPRING IS HERE. Snow in April = f*cked up. Go May! Now just to wait for 30+ temps in June :rays really really hard::


I'm seriously tempted to buy a scanner, even though I'm genetically engineered to be cheap. A little feng shui in my room and i could find a spot for it (though it will involve moving a bookshelf heavily loaded with books... ack lazy gene kicking in!). I just enjoy drawing directly on paper more than on the computer (though still love photoshop for painting and whatnot), plus i draw mostly during lunch at work and its hard lugging my entire computer over there. Well, a thought for another day. Right now delicious sleep comes a callin, and my cold is makin me answer.

Whats that? Why haven't I been submitting anything to dA? Well I suppose thats a good question, even if I point out my erratic posting habits since I joined. Skirting the emo related life issues, and the fact that I sink a lot of my free time into Rock Band marathons, the majority of my recent drawing has been on... -gasp-... actual paper! And while my apartment boasts drafty windows and a kitchen designed for an anorexic dwarf, it is lacking in a scanner. I've poked around in photoshop, but everything I make just gets siderailed by aforementioned emo stuff and I wind up just thinking its shit and move on to something else. Go me!

Anyhoo, to affirm that I am sorta alive as a creative person who hasn't had their soul crushed by a shitty job and pointless life (ROFLOL! oh, i needed that), I'll let you in on a little project me and my brother-in-law are gonna be working on: A chil'uns book! Neat, huh? ....chil'un = children... ya, there you go! I've already started some rough work on the sucker, and maybe I can get to a scanner and email myself some pieces I can throw up here.

So never fear, the procrastinator might possibly be here if he gets around to it! Yeah!




As a side note, not checking dA in a while results in 3 days of going through out of date journals and a fuckton of awesome pics.

Howdy watchers and random visitors. Hows it going? ...k, I suck at segues, so I'll get right into it. Hopefully I'm gonna be able to get back into drawing, as I've managed to find a lot more free time. Saving money may, well, save you money, but it puts a big dent in your social life.

My plan is gonna be to expand my rather limited repertoire.... in other words drawing stuff I'm not familiar nor particularly comfortable drawing. Not that I ever follow my plans, but they always launch me in some random direction thats usually pretty good.

So if all goes well, you'll see some stuff regularly from me. Whether thats a good thing or a bad thing, only time will tell.
